本研究は,秋田市内の総合病院5ヶ所の看護職と秋田県内の双子をもつ母親を対象として,看護職の双子の育児に関する情報提供の実態と双子をもつ母親が看護職に求める育児情報についてのアンケート調査である。看護職の90%が双子をもつ母親に対し,双子の育児に関する情報提供を行う必要があると答えたが,実際に行っている看護職は全体の54%であった。また看護職から双子の育児に関する情報提供を受けたと答えた母親は10%以下であった。看護職が提供している情報は,おむつ交換,沐浴などの育児方法と授乳方法が中心であった。一方,母親は看護職に対して,出産前は育児書や育児サークルに関する情報,出産後は双子に特有の授乳方法や育児の工夫などの情報を求めており,看護職が提供している情報と母親の必要とする情報に差異が認められた。In this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on nurses in five hospitals in Akita City and mothers with twins in Akita Prefecture to investigate how nurses actually guide mothers in twins reating and what kind of information mothers with twins wish nurses to furnish them with. 90% of the murses considered they should provide twinsmothers with information on twins rearing although 54% of the nurses answered they actually did so. 10% or less of the mothers were provided by nurses with information on twins rearing. Information provided by nurses included mainly how to rear twins. for example, how to change diapers, give twins a bath, and lactate them. On the other hand, the mothers wished for information on books and circles for twins reating before childbirth and twins-specific information on, for example, methods for lactating twins and ideas for rearing twins after childbirth. Thus, it was found that the information actally provided by nurses and that demanded by mothers was different
