Materials and Methods A Quant i tat ive Research approach was adopted for this study. A review of l i terature was done on studies related to aerobic dance movement therapy on psychological condi t ion, Studies related to Aerobic Dance movement therapy on medical condi t ion, s tudies related to anxiety. The conceptual framework opted for this study was based o n t h e Mo d el o f Wi d e n b ac h ‘ s h el p i n g ar t o f cl i n i c al n u r s i n g t h eo r y (1969), in order to achieve the object ives of the study. The Research design adopted was quasi experimental design. The tool adopted for the s t u d y i s s t an d ar d i z ed ―S t at e t r ai t an x i et y s c al e‖ . T h e t o o l was v al i d at e d by 4 exper ts. A pi lot study was conducted before under taking the main study. The main study was conducted in, Government Gir ls Higher Secondary and Government Higher Secondary School , among 60 adolescent gi rls of age group between 16-18 years. The subjects in the Government Higher Secondary School were used for control group. After 4 weeks post test was given to both the groups.
