Abstract
Two benzocoumarins and a benzochromone were synthesized starting from 2,7-dihydroxynaphthalene and ethyl acetoacetate in the presence of Amberlyst-15 as condensing agent. The structures of the products have been elucidated by 1H NMR, 13C NMR, FT-IR spectral methods.
