The article offers conceptual discussion on significantly changing point of view towards quality of science. Quality is an immanentic attribute of science and universities always aim for quality in science. Traditionally quality of science is based on epistemological insights which enable scholars for critical reflection of their research results. However, challenges of modern society produce new point of view about scientific quality which is oriented to be constructed as open system that encompass experience and social relationships. Moreover, quality of science is related with management. In a such context, conceptualization of quality of science should be based on the reflextive analysis, narratives, and dialogue of different subjects. The authors point to the problem that the concept of science quality lacks operacionalized content and meaning; therefore, authors aim to reveal how common contemporary management, political, sociological, educational theories empower for the integral academic and management of science quality conceptualization, which create preconditions for systemic theoretical, and praxeological contextualization. The authors have in mind that different scientific fields have distinctive criteria for quality evaluation, however, the article does not develop the discussion on the aforementioned criteria because the main objective is quality management.
