In the article the phenomenon of human trafficking, from which the girls characterized as having risky sexual behaviour suffer mostly, is analyzed. The elements of risk and protection, influencing the attitude of the girls towards human trafficking mostly and determining the nature of its expression, are revealed. The quantitative research results, represented in the article, reveal that the girls do not have enough knowledge regarding the phenomenon of human trafficking, they also miss an ability to evaluate a possible danger of human trafficking and distinguish the major causes of human trafficking, from which a young person suffer.
