Electron Energy-Loss Spectroscopy (EELS) is a very well adapted tool to study the dielectric response of nanotubes. Due to the curved anisotropy of such nano-objects, the interpretation of the EEL spectra is far from being straightforward and an adapted theoretical framework is then required.
