BIBFRAME is the Library of Congress\u27s current effort to develop a linked data replacement for MARC. BIBFRAME is a work in progress, not yet ready for implementation. In this two-hour session, we will examine how BIBFRAME works, what it is intended to accomplish, and the progress that has been made toward that goal. We\u27ll take a look at the BIBFRAME tools that are under development, including the prototype editor for creating new records.
