Leatherman Daily Student Staff Writer Const ruction on two IU build-ings and Bloomington's Justice Building has been stalled because of a strik e resulting from a con-tract dispute about overtime pay. Constructio n workers from the Laborers' Int ernational Union of North America, Local 741, will meet with contractors Thursday to negotiate an agreement. The workers began their strike Tues-day in 15 Indiana counties be-cause of an impasse with the Bloomington Construction League and the Southeastern Contractors Association. Workers picketed in front of the Justice Building, the IU Law Sc hool and the Memorial Stadi-um Tuesday . Law st udent s have been at-tending classes in the Student Building since last August be-cause of the construction work being done a t the law school. Maurice Holl and, acting dean of the law schoo l, said the school o rigina ll y planned to get students back to their regular classrooms by Aug. 12. " I have had no word yet from contr~ctors or the University about a delay," he said. But Terry Clapacs, University director of th e IU Physical Plant, said if the strik e continues for . more than a week, delays cou Id have an impact. _.:;.
