Enclosed please find 12 applications, a scoring system sheet, and a ballot. Please keep several things in mind. The award is to be used for any purpose reasonably designed to improve one's career in law librarianship. Scholarships can be used to attend conferences, institutes or for other endeavors within the. scope of the scholarship. If the applicants have equal qualifications, then the award will be given based on financial need. Also - we can increase the amount or number of scholar-ships if more than 3 people are deserving. I would suggest reading the applications in 3 batches. Depending on the accumulated vote, we may have to discuss the leading candidates. Please return your ballot by March 1st.
