Law Librarian and read your letter with interest. Ironically, I had been thinking of calling or writing to you because I had hoped to get a committee assignment. The work I am most interested in is the mentoring project. If there is still some work to be done, that would be my primary interest but I . am willing to do anything you feel appropriate. (My experience tells me that you only get from an organization what you put into it--and I cannot imagine NOT being active in SEALL!) Sorry to be so late with this minimal volunteerism but I had surgery earlier this fall and have not been in the office much until this week. All's well now--except for the condition of my desk. My best wishes for the kind of year we all have come to expect of you. Too bad you have set such high standards, it can only mean lots of work for you!
