Ii / , , . ? · / / ,l/j {.,l 1//l I - ; TO: FROM: As you know, I am sure, the AALL has always had a Committee on Memorials, which was charged with keeping track of all members who may have deceased during the year, and to prepare memorials for presentation at the Annual Convention and for publication in the Law Library Journal. Last year's experience showed that the rapid growth of our membership has made this a most difficult task for the Committee. George Skinner, Law Librarian at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, has agreed to chair the Col11IIlittee this year. However, rather than to appoint other Committee members to assist him, I am asking each Chairperson of a Chapter to appoint a person who would notify George of any member death in the Chapter region and to assist George in getting a colleague to write a memorial. I do hope that this will be agreeable with you will appoint a member at your earliest convenience. appreciate it if you would notify George the name of and that you I would indeed this appointee. I hope you agree with me that this is the best way to handle this unhappy but necessary task. If you are no longer President, would you please direct this memorandum to the current President. cc: George Skinner
