A composition which has potent anti-HIV activity. The composition is a high energy coprecipitate of nonoxynol-9 oligomers, polyvinyl-pyrrolidone (PVP) and iodine or PVP-I and shows a pronounced synergistic, anti-HIV effect between the compounds of the composition.
