The seven Nearctic species of Boettcheria are revised and distributional data are given for North America. Both sexes can be identified from the key. Bionomic information is included. Boettcheria pugetensis Dodge, 1967 is placed as a junior synonym of B. melanderi Dodge, 1967 (NEW SYNONYM), and a lectotype is designated for B. cimbicis (Townsend).
