The present paper analysis of the Zoology doctoral theses submitted to three universities in Karnataka. This study covers 6909 citations. The study indentify that journal article resource (78) fallowed Books (11). Bangalore university zoology researcher cited 2026 highest journal articles. Evolution (147) Genetics (129) is highest referred journals. Subject wise distribution of citations and journal citations, Ranking of Journal source, journal publication geographical distribution are determined
