現代の日本は急速なデジタル化の発展により、無機質なものやコトに囲まれている。我々はデジタル化の利便性と引き換えに、肉体的感覚をどんどん忘れているのではないだろうか。身体知とは、身体に宿る知性、身体自らがもっている身体機能（知覚、記憶、判断、感情、動作など）のことで、身体が持ち得る生命力（身体観）を示す。本研究では、身体知を探る実践活動として農業体験を行い、実体験を通じた体感知とデザインの関係性を検証した。また、各研究者のテーマに関連した勉強会を全5回開催し、実体からサイバーまで多角的なテーマを用いた研究を行った。さらに、第3回芸術工学研究所研究発表会では各研究者の研究報告と共に、財団法人たんぽぽの家理事長・播磨靖夫氏を招き、「光を感じ、輝きをデザインする」という表題で基調講演を行っていただいた。芸術工学の視点から新たに見出した身体知の創造価値と、デザイン及びデザイン教育への有用性の検証を、一部内容を抜粋して報告する。We are enclosed inorganic objects and things by rapid development of digitalization in Japan, now. We might forget a physical sense in exchange for the convenience of digitalization. BODY OF KNOWLEDGE are an intellect that stays in body and an own bodily functions (It means perception, the memory, the judgment, feelings, and operation, etc.). It signify life force and body vitality.In this research, we experienced agriculture program as hands-on activities that searched for BODY OF KNOWLEDGE, and verified the relation between a feeling in the body and the design through the real experience. The study meeting related to each researcher’s theme was held five all times, and the research that used a diversified theme from object to cyber was done. Moreover, Yasuo Harima who is chief director of foundation TANPOPO-NO-IE did the keynote address in the title “Light was felt, and the shine was designed” in our symposium. It reports on the creation value that newly found from aspect of art and design, and the verification of the utility to the design and design education
