Actitud de los alumnos hacia la química, en la carrera de ingeniería química petrolera de ESIQIE-IPN

Abstract

El objetivo del trabajo es indagar cuál es la actitud de los alumnos hacia la química, en la carrera de Ingeniería Química Petrolera de ESIQIE-IPN. Se hizo un estudio descriptivo, con diseño transversal, prospectivo y univariado. El cuestionario fue de 20 ítems, entre los que se evalúa el entusiasmo, la asistencia, el trabajo en equipo, como consideran los conceptos de química entre otros. Los ítems se miden mediante la escala de Likert con cinco opciones: "totalmente de acuerdo" hasta "totalmente en desacuerdo (1)". La muestra fue de 102 alumnos, no probabilística. Los datos se procesaron en el programa IBM SPSS Statistics versión 23. El análisis estadístico se realizó por medio de frecuencias, porcientos y tablas estadísticas. En los resultados se encontró una actitud moderadamente positiva hacia la química en los alumnos.The objective of work is research the attitude of the students towards the chemistry in Chemical Engineering bachelor's degree of ESIQIE-IPN. A descriptive study was made, with a transversal, prospective and univariate design. The questionnaire with 20 items among which the enthusiasm, attendance, teamwork, as they consider chemistry concepts among others are evaluated. The items are measured using the Likert scale with five options: "totally agree" to "totally disagree (1)".The sample was 102 students, not probabilistic. The data were processed in the IBM SPSS Statistics program, version 23. The statistical analysis was carried out using frequencies, percentages and statistical tables.
