PENGARUH PENYULUHAN KESEHATAN TERHADAP KEPATUHAN PEMAKAIAN ALAT PERLINDUNGAN DIRI (APD) PADA PEKERJA PEMBUATAN KERUPUK SANJAI DI KELURAHAN MANGGIS GANTIANG SANJAI BUKITTINGGI TAHUN 2017

Abstract

From 15 sanjai cracker – making workers, 7 of them have not used self – protection equitment, only 5 persons use hand gloves to avoid injuries to their hand by using sharp cassava peeler. While 3 others only wear aprons to protect their bodies from sprinkling of cooking oil and hot fires of furnance. Therefore in need of health counseling to change the worker behavior to use the complete personal protective  equipment to the sanjai cracker making worker in manggis gantiang sanjai, Bukittinggi year 2017. This research method is using quasi exsperiment research method with design approach one group pretest – posttest design and research instrument in the from is observation sheet. Then data is processing with paired test with alpha = 0.05. sample as many as 15 respondents. The results were obtained p – value 0, 000 it mean that there is defference between compliance before and after doing halth counseling about the use of personal protective equipment.  Conclution from this research that there is increasing compliance of the use of personal protective equitment before giving health cunseling that is 2, 13 and compliance of the use of personal protective equitment after giving health counseling that is 4, 07. It is recomended sanjai cracker maker workers to use self protection tool at work  in Manggis Gantiang Sanjai, Bukittinggi year 2017
