This paper aims to describe the life and works of the Romantic painter Luis Ferrant Llausás, who worked in Madrid during the reign of Elizabeth II and belonged to a well-known family of artists. lnformation regarding bis teaching activities and membership of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando is also provided.Con este estudio se da a conocer la vida y obra del pintor romántico Luis Ferrant Llausás, activo en Madrid, durante el reinado de Isabel 11 y miembro de una destacada familia de artistas.
