From the charcoal studies from four archaeological sites, a synthesis is presented for the vegetation dynamics the I millenium a.n.e. in the South of the Iberian Peninsula. A similar coincidence of change is observed in the environment and cultural and economic transformation. This change is produced by the human action on the most fertile soils, as consequence of the extension and intensif ication of the agricultural production. First, with the cereals that one comes cultivating from the neolithic one, later with the grapevine that gets in Andalusia in a Protohistoric phase and, f inally, with the olive tree in Roman epoch.A partir del estudio antracológico de cuatro yacimientos arqueológicos se realiza una síntesis de la dinámica vegetal durante el I milenio a.n.e. en el Sur de la Península Ibérica. Se observa una parecida coincidencia de cambio en el medio ambiente y de transformación socio-cultural y económica. Este cambio está producido por la acción antrópica sobre los suelos más fértiles, como consecuencia de la extensión e intensificación de la producción agrícola.
