Abstract

This collection contains a few items pertaining to the bank S. Bleichröder of Berlin and later New York City, including a handwritten business letter regarding the Kaiserin Elisabeth-Bahn account, signed by S. Bleichröder (Berlin: 1883 June 25) and a holiday card from the S. Bleichröder bank (New York, 1938). A letter from Max Kreutzberger (1978) about the banking firms of S. Bleichröder and Julius Bleichröder & Co. has been digitized separately.Julius Bleichröder and his older brother Gerson were sons of Samuel Bleichröder, founder of the S.
