THE ROLE OF THIOL REDOX SYSTEMS AT THE ANTIBIOTIC TREATMENT OF BACTERIA ESCHERICHIA COLI UNDER THE ACTION OF EXTREME TEMPERATURES

Abstract

We have shown that at 37 °с mutants of the genes gor, trxA and trxB grew with a lower rate, while the gshA mutant grew with a higher rate than the wildtype cells. The study of dependence of the wild-type bacteria susceptibility to various antibiotics (ciprofloxacin, ampicillin and streptomycin) on the culture temperature revealed a characteristic V-shape curve with a maximum of susceptibility at 40°с. This dependence was preserved in the mutants tested, however, some changes related to the type of mutation and antibiotic were observed.Исследования поддержаны грантом Программы МКБ Президиума РАН №12-П-4-1013, грантами РФФИ №13-04-96039, РФФИ-Урал №14-04-96031, грантом Президиума УрО РАН для молодых ученых 14-4-НП-126
