El objetivo del proyecto es desarrollar el diseño de un centro de distribución para su implementación a un caso real. En este caso se ha realizado el estudio para una empresa de calzado.
Durante los primeros capítulos se hace un balance histórico y técnico sobre la logística, las mejores prácticas y filosofías que pueden ser implantadas. También se analizan los distintos tipos de plataformas y sus aspectos técnicos de forma general.
Conforme se avanza en el desarrollo del proyecto, se elige una metodología de trabajo y se irá profundizando en el estudio de las mejores tecnologías asociadas a ella, para su óptimo rendimiento.
Una vez elegida la tecnología que se implantará en el centro de distribución, se procede a su implantación en un caso real; para ello primero se toman los datos de una compañía que está a la vanguardia del sector, y se realiza un estudio para detectar sus necesidades.
Por último, se realiza el diseño del centro de distribución en base a las necesidades que se han encontrado en el estudio de mercado, se utilizando el programa Sketchup para realizar el modelo en 3D. También se han estudiado la obra civil, la instalación eléctrica, gestión de residuos, aguas, climatización y ventilación, y de seguridad industrial.The objective of the project is to develop the design of a distribution center for its implementation in a real case.
