As artimanhas do percurso museal: narrativas sobre objetos e peças de museu.

Abstract

Esse texto problematiza o museu como instituição que eleva os objetos a um estatuto diferenciado simbolicamente. Identificando e mapeando um determinado percurso museal, foram investigadas as narrativas discursivas de dois grupos específicos envolvidos na consagração dos objetos como peças de museu, doadores e agentes do campo museal.  Através dessas narrativas foi possível compreender como os indivíduos e grupos sociais lidam com seu passado e sua memória, através do museu, reservando-lhe diferentes significações que apontam para sua relevância seja individaual ou coletiva. By identifying and tracking a determined museum route, it was possible to investigate the discursive narratives of two specific groups involved in the objects’ recognition as museum pieces, donators and agents of the museum field. These narratives allowed us to understand how, through the museum, people and social groups deal with their past and memory, and then endow the museum with different meanings, which make it relevant in an individual or collective way.
