This article describes the design and implementation of a long-term education project, a joint effort of the Service Employees International Union, Bunker Hill Community College, and nine Massachusetts community hospitals. The object was to offer an associate degree in medical radiography to eleven participants. Details of the funding source, admission process, curriculum, student support services, quality assurance, and problems and solutions are outlined.
