The next (and last) two weeks of July will be the busiest of the entire summer. Arriving on-campus starting on Monday will be FCA Football, FCA Softball, FCA Cheer, Youth For Christ - just to name a few. All of these camps are very large, boasting between 100 and 700 people per camp - meaning there will be thousands of youth visiting Georgia Southern’s campus. In fact, FCA Football’s camp is so large, they took up the entire multipurpose field at the Grube Recreation and Activity Center. Luckily, they won’t all be here on campus at the same time, but there will still be plenty of overlaps and lots of quick tunarounds on between check-ins, check-outs, and meal times. So be prepared to smile, wave, give directions and brag about our beautiful campus. You never know how many of these young guests could be future Georgia Southern Eagles.  continuing leadership July 17, 2017Written by Mariah SmithUPCOMING CAMPSMen’s Soccer 3                          7/21 - 7/23BUILD 2                       7/23 - 7/28Youth For Christ                    7/24 - 7/28 Though other departments may be gearing up for the upcoming Fall semester, Conference Services has reached the point in our year where it is time to pause, reflect on our accomplishments, and begin to plan for the next conference season. This reflection is critical to the operations of the next staff as well as the efficiency of our entire system with the rest of the departments in auxiliary services. Conference Assistants who were interested in the Conference Manager position to begin a shadowing program, so that they could better understand the role, as well as get some more hands-on leadership and management experience. Volunteering this year for the shadowing program are: Alexus Harris, Micheal Smith, Zach Schultz, and Kodi Day. We cannot wait to see how their management styles and ideas could help us to continue to exempify True Blue, Southern Hospitality in the upcoming year.#EatSleepWorkSouthernDo you have an exceptional knowledge of Georgia Southern University, its campus, and resources?
