The use of concrete as a structural material is growing at an extremely fast pace. Today\u27s engineers are continuously applying this material to new and different uses. As the list of applications grow the complexity of stress conditions will grow also. This discourse will examine: 1) work done to date in formulatin a failure criterion for concrete, 2) present a new approach, 3) testing the validity of new approach
