Well beyond the implicatures of the Process of Bologna, going on in the academic space
and time all over the world, and considering the concepts of Education, Emancipation and
Research, this article seeks to point out some presuppositions that, in their whole, according to our
opinion, are directed to the research praxis, aiming the emancipative development of women, men
and institutions doing academic history, as well as defining the epistemological and political
foundations for the production of critical and committed knowledge, in order to overcome
intellectual barbarism and the disseminated “end of theory”.
Key Words: Research; theory; education; emancipation; critical knowledge.O presente trabalho busca, para além das implicações do Processo de Bolonha em curso no espaço-tempo universitário mundial e considerando os conceitos de Educação, Emancipação e Pesquisa, contribuir apontando alguns pressupostos que, tomados em seu conjunto, direcionam, a nosso ver, a práxis da pesquisa para possíveis desdobramentos emancipatórios das mulheres, dos homens e das instituições que fazem história acadêmica, bem como definem os fundamentos epistemológico-políticos para uma produção de conhecimento crítico e comprometido com a superação da barbárie intelectual e do propalado “fim da teoria”
