Your ongoing support ensures our place among the premier conservatories of the world and a staple of our community.                                          - Jon Robertson, dean  There are a number of ways by which you can help us fulfill our mission:  Friends of the Conservatory of Music  Lynn University’s Friends of the Conservatory of Music is a volunteer organization that supports high-quality music education through fundraising and community outreach. Raising more than $2 million since 2003, the Friends support Lynn’s effort to provide free tuition scholarships and room and board to all Conservatory of Music students. The group also raises money for the Dean’s Discretionary Fund, which supports the immediate needs of the university’s music performance students. This is accomplished through annual gifts and special events, such as outreach concerts and the annual Gingerbread Holiday Concert. The Leadership Society of Lynn University  The Leadership Society is the premier annual giving society for donors who are committed to ensuring a standard of excellence at Lynn for all students. She has had the privilege of performing the music of renowned Russian composer Sophia Gubaidulina and she has been the double bass accompanist at the Seoul International Festival. Ms. Park has worked at the Seoul National University as a collaborative pianist for the double bass studio from 2012 to 2014. During that time, she also served as an accompanist with the Seoul Baroque Chamber Orchestra Summer Festival for three years. She started her piano studies at the age of seven and was accepted to the Anyang Arts School. Ms. Park entered Dongduk Women's university for her  degree in piano solo performance. Aside from her solo activities, Ms. Park is very interested in chamber music and collaborative piano repertoire. Sohyun Park won 2nd prize at the Piano Duo Association of Korea competition in 2005. She has played with the Herald Symphony Orchestra as a guest pianist. She has participated in the master classes of Jungja Kim, Jeff Bradetich, Nancy Weems, Anne Epperson, Rita Sloan and Elmar Oliveira. Ms. Park is studying towards her Professional Performance Certificate at the Lynn University Conservatory with Professor Lisa Leonard.
