Abstract
Jagoda je zeljasta, grmolika biljka koja pripada porodici Rosaceae odnosno rodu Fragaria. Poznata je još od davnina, te je danas postala jako tražena, kako u Hrvatskoj, tako i u svijetu. Uzgaja se zbog svojih plodova koji su različitih veličina i ugodne arome. Do danas je opisano 47 vrsti jagoda. Njezini plodovi se koriste za razne prerađevine kao što su đžemovi, sokovi i ostalo.The strawberry is a bushy, herbaceous plant of the Rosaceae family or, more specifically the Fragaria genus. It has been widely known for a long time and has become very popular both in Croatia and worldwide. The strawberry is cultivated for its variously sized fruit and pleasant aroma. Forty-seven different species of strawberry have been described so far. Its fruit is used for different products such as jams, juices and others
