Trabajo presentado en el 3rd International Symposium on Nanoscience and Nanomaterials, celebrado en Ensenada (México) del 10 al 14 de marzo de 2014.In the present work, mesoporous silica SBA-16 was modified with titanium by direct synthesis method. From these supports NiMoW catalysts were developed in order to achieve higher performance for removal of sulfur in the reaction of hydrodesulfurization (HDS) of dibenzothiophene (DBT). To determine the effects of the incorporation of titanium in the structure of SBA-16, its interaction with the active phases and the dispersion on the catalyst surface, the samples were characterized by a variety of techniques as N2 adsorption-desorption isotherms, XRD, TPR, TPD-NH3, DRS UV-vis and HRTEM.Peer Reviewe
