Abstract
On refluxing in benzene in the presence of excess pyridine the monocycloadduct of diphenyl nitrilimine to pyridine undergoes a [1,5] sigmatropic shift and a subsequent electrocyclic opening to afford 1,2,4-triazole derivatives
