Corn (Zea mays L.) production on family farm "Duvnjak"

Abstract

Kukuruz je biljka od iznimne važnosti kako u prehrani ljudi i životinja, tako i u industriji. Zrno je osnovna sirovina u proizvodnji stočne hrane zbog visokog sadržaja ugljikohidrata (70-75%), te sadržaja bjelančevina (10%). Isto tako to je jedna od najzastupljenijih žitarica na svjetskim oranicama. Kao kultura ima dosta visoke potrebe za vlagom, temperaturom i svjetlošću. U ovom je radu analizirana proizvodnja kukuruza na ̋OPG Darko Duvnjak ̋ za 2018. godinu. ̋OPG Darko Duvnjak ̋ bavi se isključivo uzgojem ratarskih kultura, a od ukupno 215 ha obradivog tla kukuruz se sije na 130 hektara. Agrotehničke mjere od same obrade tla do žetve obavljene su prema pravilima struke. Usjev kukuruza je dao odgovarajući sklop biljaka i zadovoljavajući prinos (oko 12-15 t/ha).Corn is a plant of great importance both in the diet of humans and animals as well as in the industry.
