The interest in health promotion in family and domestic rehabilitation has grown recently.
The present article discusses the aspects of responsibility parents take for child rehabilitation.
The parents, as the therapists of their own child in the process of revalidation, are
obliged to let their child develop as well as they can. Parents should decrease the constant
support systematically so as not to lead to the learned helplessness. They should also be
aware of the fact that their child is not to fulfill their expectations and meet their needs, but
it is an individual and autonomous person. In order to illustrate the main issues in brief, the
article presents a few cases of children with special educational needs
