Hospitality is one of the most important christian virtues. „Be hospitable to one another without complaining” (1P 4,9) – the firm biblical warrant is a starting point for understanding an issue of migration within catholic sociology. Article’s analysis of the papal messages of John Paul II, Benedict XVI and Francis is a trial of identifaction of main threads and historical contexts of these documents.
