The article presents a classification of occasionalisms (ОС) according to their
word-formation. Six types are analysed.
ОС formed in conformity with word-formation system;
ОС formed by violating the rules of word-formation system;
ОС created after the model od particular word;
ОС created after occasional formation patterns;
ОСformed regardless of word-formation system;
