PEMETAAN DIMENSI PROSES KOGNITIF SOAL-SOAL IPA PADA BUKU PEGANGAN SISWA KURIKULUM 2013 DI SEKOLAH DASAR KELAS RENDAH

Abstract

Mapping of Cognitive Processes Dimension of Natural Science Questions on Student Handbook of Curriculum 2013 at Low Grade Primary School. The objectives of this study are to identify and to describe the level of cognitive process dimension of natural science questions on the student handbook of Curriculum 2013 at low grade Primary School. The method of this study was analytic descriptive through qualitative approach. The research subjects were 89 natural science questions of 1st grade and 50 natural science questions of 2nd grade. The data collection techniques was questionnaires through a questionnaire document analysis sheet. The data ware analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results showed that natural science questions on the 1st grade and 2nd grade handbooks were dominated by low level questions with emphasis on basic learning. Questions of natural science more developing lower order thinking skills that is average occurrence percentage of C1 (remember) 57,47%; C2 (understand) 27,04%, and C3 (applying) 6,06%. The average occurrences percentage of natural science questions that developing higher order thinking skills is low that is C4 (analyzing) 8,43%; C5 (evaluating) 0,00%, and C6 (create) 1,00%. Therefore, the dimensions of applying, analyzing, evaluating, and creating the natural science questions in the student handbook need to be increased in frequency
