Estudio del potencial de aprendizaje en un grupo de menores con discapacidad intelectual

Abstract

This study aims to characterize the effect of dynamic evaluation of disabled children�s learning potential. This is a mixed-method research with a dominant quantitative approach. A pretest-posttest and control group design was used. People who took part in the study were 10 children with intellectual disability. Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children (Mexico revised version WISC-RM), Goodenough test and test of Non-verbal Intelligence TONI-2 were administered in order to characterize intellectual functioning. The dynamic evaluation of the learning potential EPA-2 was used as experimental treatment. In the results, a meaningful gain in the learning potential of the experimental group as compared to that of the control group (p = 0.009) is clearly shown.El objetivo del presente estudio es caracterizar el efecto de la evaluación dinámica en el potencial de aprendizaje de niños con discapacidad intelectual. La metodología es de enfoque mixto de tipo cuantitativo dominante, con un diseño experimental preprueba-posprueba y grupo control.
