Hacia una comprensión de la violencia o maltrato entre iguales en la escuela y el aula

Abstract

Identification of some forms or manifestations of violence or bullying in daily life in an educative institution in San Cristobal is treated in this work. Research on an exploratory type, allowed to examine the object of study through the perceptions of a group of teachers using a structured test. Among the results that were found is the variety of forms or situations that could be characterized as violent. On the other hand is the disposition of teachers to participate in the design and administration of preventive and formative pedagogical projects.Este artículo es resultado de un trabajo dirigido a identificar formas o manifestaciones más frecuentes de violencia o maltrato entre iguales (bullying) en la convivencia dentro de una institución educativa de la ciudad de San Cristóbal. La investigación, de carácter exploratorio, permitió examinar el objeto de estudio a partir de las percepciones de un grupo de docentes mediante un cuestionario estructurado. Entre los resultados destacan la detección de variadas formas y situaciones que podrían ser caracterizadas como violentas y la disposición de los docentes a participar en el diseño y administración de proyectos pedagógicos de carácter preventivo y formativo
