Junior High School Students\u27 Interest in Early Awareness\u27\u27 Program Activities

Abstract

This article describes the results of a survey of student interest in career and postsecondary education planning The survey reveals that junior high school students\u27 willingness to participate in planning activities and their willingness to sacrifice to achieve postsecondary goals are directly related to their plans for life after high school. Early awareness activities are unlikely to be well received by a significant proportion of the young students
