The teacher preparation program in a Jesuit liberal arts college prepares future teachers to identify and actively confront inequities in society. Empowering teachers to carry justice-oriented teaching into schools rests on strong relationships among peers and professors on campus, and with students and families from diverse communities in university neighborhoods.
