She has performed with the MiamiUniversity Opera, the Cincinnati Opera, the Bowling Green State Opera, andin recent years, as a touring member of the American Spiritual Ensemble. Shehas traveled extensively performing across the nation, and in Europe andCentral America.Recently, Callie has taken social media by storm as fans all over the UnitedStates have captured her amazing voice in videos that have almost instantlygone viral! Even before then, many had already witnessed her gifts in schoolsand churches where she's taught and served, and especially in her localWalmart where she was featured as the "Singing Pharmacy Tech" on severalcommercial videos.In August 2016, Callie released her 1st single, "Hear My Prayer", a MosesHogan composition arranged by Callie Day, Lan Wilson, G. LeRon Rainey, andMark Lacy. Her freshman album was released on April 14, 2017 and isavailable on Itunes, Google Play and Amazon.Callie received the Associate's degree from Sinclair Community College inVocal Performance, the Bachelor's degree from Bowling Green StateUniversity in Vocal Performance, and the Master's degree in Education with aMusic Concentration from University of Dayton. Callie is also currently acandidate for the Master of Fine Arts (Miami University, OH) and Doctor ofMusic degrees (University of Kentucky). Her doctoral project is "Exploring TheRole Of African American Opera Singers In The Establishment Of The SpiritualAs A Musicial Art Form From 1900 to 1920".Taiwan NorrisTaiwan Norris, an internationally hailed lyric tenor, has sung all over theworld. He recently made his debut at New York's prestigious Carnegie Hall.Other venues include: Grand Theatre de Geneve, Komische Oper Berlin,Hamburgische Staatsoper, Lyric Opera of Chicago, San Francisco Opera, andOpera Philadelphia. But of course, at the root of it all is GOSPEL music.Taiwan is always most elated each time he gets to return to his roots andshare the good news. Mr. Norris Holds a B.A. in Vocal Performance degreefrom Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD.Bishop Chantel R. WrightBishop Chantel R. Wright is an internationally celebrated choir directorand the founder of Pneuma Ministries International.  A native of Chicago,Illinois, Chantel started her career as an award winning choral conductor andreceived her formal education at VanderCook College of Music where sheearned her BA degree in Music Education.  As part of her undergraduatestudies, Chantel had the privilege of studying in London, England with IanPleeth and traveled throughout Europe as a soloist.  She started herprofessional career in Atlanta, Georgia where she served on the music staff ofEbenezer Baptist Church — home of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and asan educator in Dekalb County Public Schools.  After seven years of service,Chantel relocated to New York City and hit the ground running as the newDirector of the Girls Choir of Harlem, as well as Minister of Music at theMacedonia Baptist Church in Mt. Vernon, New York.   An honor celebrated byfew women, Chantel lent her talents to working with the youth of Queens,New York as the Artistic Director of the Queens Symphony Orchestra YouthGospel Choir. Chantel gained valuable experience as an orchestral conductor, which theninspired her to establish her own non-profit organization, Songs ofSolomon: An Inspirational Ensemble, Inc.  Almost immediately, Songs ofSolomon flourished and was soon featured on major television networks andwent on to win at competitions including the Pathmark Gospel ChoirCompetitions and McDonald’s Gospelfest where it took home the 1st placeprize.  The Songs of Solomon ensemble also had the privilege of sharing thestage with American Idol winners Kelly Clarkson and Fantasia Barrino, andserved for five years at the US Tennis Open.  Under Chantel’s leadership, TheSongs of Solomon ensemble also performed with award winning recordingartist Elton John at Radio City Music Hall, and sang with opera great JessyeNorman at the Greenbrier Country Club.  Jessye Norman was also the curatorof the Honor Choral Music Festival conducted by Dr. Craig Jessop at theworld famous Carnegie Hall, where today, the Ensemble is a mainstay.  Theensemble has worked tirelessly over the past fifteen years under Chantel’sguidance and has garnered national and international acclaim.  Songs ofSolomon was the featured chorus for the musical “Violet” on the TonyAwards. Songs of Solomon was selected to be a part of the inaugural Lip SyncBattle with Jimmy Fallon on network television.  Having recently completedtheir recording project, “Variations of the War Cry,” Songs of Solomon isactively engaged across the United States and abroad as ambassadors oflove. Being totally committed to the spiritual, intellectual and artistic growth oftoday’s youth, Chantel knows that the only way to shape a generation ofspirited, world class musicians is to work in conjunction with the educationsystem.  She then went on to establish The Songs of Solomon Academyfor the Arts – an organization that directly serves New York City students ininstrumental and vocal music appreciation.  Since its inception, the programhas given an impressive number of students from the Tri-State areaperformance opportunities that rival those of professional artists around theworld.  The Academy maintained an artistic partnership with ProfessionalPerforming Arts School and the Harlem School of the Arts.  As part ofChantel’s love for young people, she has also been actively involved insecured detention centers in the New York area and has continued to workwith Carnegie Hall’s Musical Connections project for youth in detentioncenters.  In November 2014 through April 2015, Chantel’s Songs of SolomonAcademy for the Arts implemented The Sounds of Hope Chorale — a trialchoral program aimed at fostering an appreciation for music and creating asafe haven for detained youth at Rikers Island and the Horizion detentioncenter in Brooklyn, New York.  After a successful trial run, Chantel hopes toroll out the program nationally. Bishop Wright has been sought out as a choral clinician nationally andinternationally.  For two consecutive years she served as the choir master forthe Harare International Festival of the Arts in South Africa, as well as theRoma Gospel Festival in Rome, Italy.  Chantel is a mainstay at the IthacaGospel Music Festival.  As an initiative for aspiring artists, the government ofthe island of Bermuda engaged Chantel to do a series of workshops and aculminating festival.  Chantel is a recipient of the New York Times Teachers Who Matter MostAward, The Ebony Ecumenical Ensemble Community Service Award, and theEphesus Seventh Day Adventist Community Service Award and is a memberof the Riverside Club for Education. Chantel remains committed to building a literate music community, and alsolends her time to the vocal music department of the Steinhardt School ofMusic at New York University since 2008.  Moreover, she serves as theArtistic Director for vocal music at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center’seducation department. The highest calling in her life is to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  As a licensedand ordained Bishop, she serves within the Christ Centered MinistriesAssembly.  Bishop Wright has established Pneuma Ministries, Internationalwhere peoples’ lives are being changed.  She was anointed by the lateKenneth H. Moales and opened the church and preached her first sermonsimultaneously.  In addition to her work in Harlem, she is a minister for thenations with the Wednesday night Pentecost Service where worshipers fromall over the world converge for a blessing from God.  She is a Choral Unionpresident of the Thomas Dorsey National Convention of Gospel Choirs andChoruses where she is on the national board of directors, and can also befound on WLIB as the host of “The Hour of Power.”  Bishop Chantel R.
