Eagle Rally

Abstract

Eagle Rally Aerodynamics (“ERA”) researched and design spoilers that increase the performance on rally cars. The specific two cars that will be tested are the 2007 and 2012 Subaru Impreza WRX STI. In 2003 Subaru won their last World Rally Championship and continued to remain part of WRC until 2008 when rules were changed. The 2007 model of Subaru was the last body style that was raced on the largest stage of rally in the world. Today Subaru is a major contender in Rally America, winning their third consecutive championship. The idea between testing the two different styles of cars is to compare the performance characteristics and how they can be improved through wind and water tunnel testing. No Demonstration or presentation will be conducted. Will be providing a poster with materials covered
