Dear Steve et al, July 26, 1984 On behalf of a colleague of mine,   and myself, I write to volunteer our help to effect the election of Mr. Mondale and Mrs. Ferraro on November 6.   is associate dean of students at Kean College of New Jersey, holds a master's degree from Ohio State University, is in her early thirties, is a native New Jerseyan and has been an administrator at the College since 1979. Aleo a native New Jereeyan I, at age 47, hold two degrees from Kean College (1974;1976), have been on staff at the College for seven years, served for five of those years as director of affinnative action, and am presently responsible for the College's governmental and corporate relations activity.   and I are available as deployed. We are each willing and able to distribute literature or to staff telephone banks. We feel though that we would be beet utilized if needed to speak on behalf of the ticket. We assume that both of the candidates will receive numerous invitations, many of which will require coverage that will necessitate the use of surrogate speakers. We see ourselves, understandably, as surrogates for those invita-tions that involve the vice-presidential nominee. We could address some small or medium-sized gatherings especially in the Union County-Essex County corridor. I'd be able to venture to Somerset, Morrie or Middlesex counties, also. UNION.
