Abstract

This is the concert program of the Open House Recital on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 9:15 a.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were I. La Princesse du Pays de la Porcelaine from Harmony in Blue and Gold for Flute Quartet by Eric Ewazen, III. Allegretto cantabile, IV. Calmo e poetico, and V. Scherzando - Coda: Presto ed energico from Suite de danzas criollas, Op. 15 by Alberto Ginastera, Who is Sylvia? from "Let Us Garlands Bring," Op. 18 by Gerald Finzi, Que fais-tu, blanche tourtelle? from Act III, Scene 2 of "Roméo et Juliette" by Charles Gounod, I. Allegro con brio from String Quartet, Op. 95 by Ludwig van Beethoven, and Ice Town for Trumpet Sextet by Mike D'Ambrosio.
