Abstract

This is the concert program of the Scenes From American Operas performance on Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13, 1991 at 8:00 p.m., at the Boston University Theater, 264 Huntington Avenue, Boston, Massachusetts. Works performed were Postcard from Morocco by Dominick Argento, The Medium by Gian Carlo Menotti, Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin, Street Scene by Kurt Weill, Of Mice and Men by Carlisle Floyd, Summer and Smoke by Lee Hoiby, Vanessa by Samuel Barber, and The Tender Land by Aaron Copland.
