Abstract

This is the concert program of the Boston University Symphony Orchestra and Soloist Competition Winners performance on Tuesday, May 3, 2005 at 8:00 p.m., at the Tsai Performance Center, 685 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Prelude to "Hansel and Gretel" by Engelbert Humperdinck, Concertinno de Camera by Jacques Ibert, Last Year in New England by Cory Hibbs, Concerto for Double Bass and Orchestra by Edvard Tubin, and Violin concerto No. 1 in A minor, Op. 77 by Ditri Shostakovich.
