Abstract

This is the concert program of the Violas and Chocolates performance on Tuesday, October 18, 2005 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were Suite for Eight Violas by Gordon Jacob, Lament for 2 Violas by Frank Bridge, "Menuetto," "Walachian Song," "Pizzicato," "Song of the Bride," and "Dancing Song" from 44 Duets by Belá Bartók, Sonata for viola solo, Op. 25 No. 1 by Paul Hindemith, and Chocolates (torch songs for viola and piano) by James Grant.
