Abstract

This is the concert program of the Studio New Music performance on Wednesday, October 23, 2002 at 8:00 p.m., at the Concert Hall, 855 Commonwealth Avenue. Works performed were "Letters without words" by Alexey Sioumak, "Chevengur's Songs" by Alexander Vustin, "Canon In Memory of Igor Stravinsky" by Alfred Schnittke, "Merry Songs" by Rodion Shchedrin, Meditation on the Bach Chorale "vor deinen Thron trett ich hiermit" by Sofia Gubaidulina, "DSCH" by Edisson Denisov, and "Chevengur" by Vladimir Tarnopolski.
