Abstract
Most New Hampshire residents believe good diplomacy is the best way to ensure peace in the world and the U.S. is among the greatest countries in the world. Granite Staters see the U.S. economy as unfairly favoring powerful interests and generally favor government regulation of businesses and Wall Street, but a plurality also say government is almost always wasteful and inefficient. Residents express high levels of confidence in the military, the police, and the Supreme Court, but low levels of confidence in the presidency, newspapers, television news and Congress
