Granite Staters are divided alongparƟsan lines over whether the country is headed in the right direcƟon.These ﬁndings are based on the latest Granite State Pol*, conducted by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center. Five hundredand two (502) randomly selected New Hampshire adults were interviewed by landline and celular telephone between July 29 andAugust 8, 2017. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 4.4 percent.PresidenƟal Approval Just months into President Trump's administraƟon, only a third of New Hampshire adults approve of his performance so far asPresident. Currently, 34% of New Hampshire adults say they approve of the job Trump is doing as President, 55% disapprove, and 11%are neutral or unsure. Trump's approval raƟng has declined since the start of his presidency. Forty-one percent (41%) of NewHampshire adults think things in this country are generaly going in the right direcƟon, 50% think things are seriously oﬀ on the wrongtrack, and 9% don’t know or are unsure.
